The downtrodden childs face at the thought of a simple loss.
The confusion from chemical reactions resulting in a bewildered look from the teenage boy after his first kiss.
The tears in a mothers eyes when her child gets married.
And the open mouthed giggle of the child of that marriage.
The image encompassing emotions, capturing the essence of the subject, reading the mind of the viewer, artist and subject; elevating them to a space of transendence where each is the other. The subject becomes as much the artist and sees her own soul, open for viewing each b

"Need You Now" Review Ok, So I've been holding off on writing this for a while and I heard that stupid song last night and I can't help but at least rant about it for a bit. Read the lyrics, or listen to the song really carefully:"Need You Now" Review by ~faux-intellect
Picture perfect memories,
Scattered all around the floor.
Reaching for the phone cause, I can't fight it any more.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind.
For me it happens all the time.
It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now.
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now.
And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now.
Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door

Word Jazz: I Am My heart is the sock, lost in the dryer,Word Jazz: I Am by ~faux-intellect
Banished to a hollow existance without yours, my match.
My mind is the petal-less flower
Ripping itself to shreds: "She loves me, she loves me not"
My soul is the aluminum can
Crushed by loneliness and only good for recycling.
My voice is the magic-inked page
Slowly fading as your eyes black-light dissipates
I am the Alka Seltzer tablet
Rapidly dissolving into the air around me.

Word Jazz: The Recent Election Word Jazz: The Recent ElectionWord Jazz: The Recent Election by ~faux-intellect
In this time of triumph, remember trouble can be compounded;
Old hatreds will be stirred, new loyalties may be founded.
Previous generations will remain stuck in their ways,
But i beg the youth to remember not so recent days.
Oppression sent, anger felt time and time again.
The question still remains: when, oh when
will we calmly stand as one,
stop the fight, refuse to run
and declare loudly with one solid voice:
Love peace and prosperity is our final choice.

My weekend was pretty good. Finished a lot of homework, watched a movie with Mom, and that was more or less the extent of it. Quiet and productive, all in all. How was yours?

Mine was very much up and down... Saturday morning my phone died and I didn't have any way to get a new one... But Saturday night was pretty fun, 2 of my buddies came over and we played card games... And Sunday life equalized a bit lol.
